I wanted to let you know that I was involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday while wearing my Helite vest.

I am very grateful that I had it on, along with my Knox jacket, as both provided excellent protection. Despite being thrown from the motorcycle, catapulted through the air, and rolling over several times across grass and onto what may have been a stone or kerb, I escaped without any scratches or injuries to my upper body.

Unfortunately, I suffered a badly fractured ankle and I am currently awaiting an operation to repair it. Considering the nature of the accident, it could have been much worse. The bruising and soft tissue damage are only just starting to appear today, but the protection from the vest and jacket undoubtedly prevented far more serious injuries.

I bought the Helite vest from you at one of the BAM meetings and I wanted to let you know just how effective it proved to be in a real-world accident. Given what happened, I have no doubt that it helped prevent much more severe injuries.

The experience has reinforced just how valuable this equipment is. I am very glad I was wearing it.
